Rocket Knight Adventures

Players take the role of Sparkster, a courageous opossum knight who serves as the royal protector of the peaceful pig kingdom of Zebulos. When the evil emperor Devligus Devotindos and his wolf army invade and kidnap the beloved Princess Sherry, Sparkster straps on a rocket pack and gives chase. Across a series of colorful side-scrolling levels the knight races, soars, and slashes his way through enemy legions aboard his trusty sword the Sparx Blade. His rocket propulsion lets him blast through the air, giving the platforming an unusually fast and vertical feel for its era. The tale is a lighthearted rescue adventure, full of dramatic escapes, giant machinery, and a final showdown to free the princess and restore peace to the kingdom.
